Do not choose a deeper sheet automatically. Too much excess fabric can move or crease beneath you, while too little depth may cause the corners to lift away from the mattress.

Choose fitted-sheet depth around the mattress
A secure fitted sheet depends on the full mattress profile, including anything that permanently sits on top.
Measure from the upper sleeping surface to the lowest edge the sheet must wrap around. Add the height of a mattress topper if it remains in place under the sheet. Do not include a removable duvet or decorative mattress layer.
Lisbon regular fitted sheets are designed around a 30cm depth, while the deep fitted sheets use a 36cm depth. The deeper option is useful for a deeper mattress or a mattress-and-topper combination, but only when the measured profile requires it.
